I was active in the Guild from 2009 until 2014, now I’m back. The leather studio has become a binding shop and various services have been added. In addition to unique leather bindings, you can also order repair of damaged book bindings and rebinding of old books from me. I will bind your thesis or other printed material in comb bindings and I can add leather covers to it.
The list of exciting workshops keeps growing. There are workshops where it takes barely an hour to make a nice notebook or key ring from pre-cut parts and it will be successful in any case. In a creative workshop, it is possible to create a great wall decoration from roofing shavings by making the work process as exciting as you like. You can make a fish, an animal, a plant or come up with something beautiful from your own head as a wall decoration.
Longer-term bookbinding/repair workshops are possible, where I can help those interested in organizing their home library. For such workshops, we can meet once a week during the autumn-winter period, for example.
My binding shop continues to sell various leather bindings, souvenirs, accessories and jewelry.
I graduated from ERKI, now called the Estonian Academy of Arts, in 1979, majoring in leatherwork.
